Last Wednesday, an absurd image of Karl Lagerfeld shopping in a supermarket surfaced on the internet, giving us a preview of what to expect in the latest issue of French Elle Magazine. Hitting newstands on Friday, the editorial reveals the designer’s real day-to-day life that apparently involves surfing the internet with Karl-clad models and shopping for detergents in his local supermarket, which just so happened to be the first time he’s ever stepped foot in one. “I did not need to go shopping since I never eat”, admitted Karl.
